A film that celebrates vivacity and dreaming, set amid the magical scenery of Paris night life. Owen Wilson masterfully channels the spirit of Woody Allen (who directed, but does not appear in the film.) The film provides a cast of who's who of turn-of-the-century creative minds, which is fun, but the simple story of one man's journey to happiness doesn't get lost amid the constant time era shifting and decadent scenery.
