"The Commitments" is an enthralling behind-the-music look at a fictional soul band that runs wild with energy, passion, humor, and, of course, great music.

A light, comedic look into the formation of a fictional Irish 'soul' band. The actors are talented musicians and their covers are solid. There's an ample amount of chuckles throughout. The film itself isn't all that involving, or memorable, but it's a swift and decent watch.
