I'm sure Tom Six was hoping to make the next "Saw" or "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," but the slow, unengaging pace and exploitational set-up leaves little chance of that.

The story is about a mad scientist comes up with a plan to create the first "human centipede" beginning with three unwilling victims linked together. This movie was gross and horrible and don't waste your time with this terrible ugly movie.

A good, disturbing midnight movie. Much less graphic than what it was made out to be. Leaves more to the imagination.

I heard about this flick, saw it a couple times in stores so when I saw it at Redbox I decided to check it out & Im glad I only had to pay a $1 to rent it.The best thing I can say about this DVD is that the DVD cover looks cool but thats about it.The movie seemed like it was made just to shock or gross you out

One of the most disturbing films *ever*. Also just about the creepiest villain *ever*. Very scary/suspensful start, could be typical, but great tone and horror. DARK.

This movie was surprisingly quite, it was much different than anything ever made in the united stated. this dutch film had very poor acting throughout the first 15minutes, but when the action started, the poor acting was overlooked. Dieter Laser was the one whom made this movie work and be as successful as it was, his acions and mannerisms as Dr. Heiter were entertaining yet stuck to the role very well.

It takes a disturbing mind to come up with a vision this demented. The villain is straight out of the Dr. Mengele school of experimentation and is the best part of the film. I'm unsure how they're going to work a sequel considering the end, but I'm sure Mr. Six will think of something even worse.

It's never as shocking as it should be, but a great lead villain, sporadic chills, and an emotionally crushing ending nearly save it enough to warrant a mild recommendation.
