With the recent news of Russian spies being arrested in America comes Salt. The timing is a little too perfect, yet Jolie gives it her all in this summer popcorn flick. Lots of things blow-up, there're shoe knives, and even a spider-poisoned bullet. Don't feel bad for buying in, because Jolie is more than good at beating up the boys. She won't be established as the heir to the female Bourne & Bond throne everyone seems infatuated with. That goes to Lisbeth in the outstanding Millenium Triilogy! Again, don't feel bad for buying in, but do feel bad for the decent cast once the script reveals its way-too-over-the-top and twist inspired fangs to suck all life, logic, and credibility from your salty fingers.
