While it was entertaining almost every bit of it was completely predictable, as are most family dramas. But what I can say now with the utmost conviction is that after seeing this movie it has been confirmed for me that Miley Cyrus really is completely talentless. She struggled through the whole movie. There was nothing good about her performance other than the fact that she is able to cry on cue.

After watching this I think Im gonna stop watching any flicks that are based on a Nicholas Sparks novel. They all seem to end up the same way,Boy meets girl,They break up a couple different times,Somebody gets a disease or dies,Boy & girl get back together,The end.I cant believe The Last Song didnt go straight to DVD or The Lifetime Channel.Miley Cyrus sucks

Not a good movie. Extremely predictable, made for 14 year old girls, and not enjoyable. Stay away unless you fit the exact profile. To be honest, though, the acting was actually decent from Cyrus and Kinnear. Still, not a good movie.

at first, i didn't feel it was a movie. it seems just a TV series. but watching it towards the end, it is such a good film. i can say i love it as i love a walk to remember, which is another Sparks' adaptation movie, unlike dear john which disappointed me.! The story is really good! i love the romance and the family drama. Jonah's crying do intensify the sadness you feel while watching it. However, there some sort of falling short when it comes to the execution itself. some transitions between camera angles are not good, i think, the problem was with the film editing. Miley Cyrus is an actress/singer, she is "capable" of acting but i can't say that she's good enough. in general, it's a movie worth watching.!

This was a very solid movie. Good cast, great story. Miley Cyrus and Greg Kinnear were very well cast in their roles, and the story was very touching. As with most Nicholas Sparks books, this movie will pull at your heart strings. It's somewhat predictable, yet very moving. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
