This movie was really good. I wasn't sure what to expect from all the mixed reviews I kept hearing. But it was great, not Marty's best movie, but still pretty good (and surprisingly short). Great performances from the cast, especially Leo. I guess the reason most people don't like this movie is because they don't like thinking while watching movies, they just expect everything to be written in stone for them. Probably the same people who didn't like "The Usual Suspects", or "Memento". My opinion is watch this movie if you ever get the chance!

this was one of those movies where the previews messed it up for me. Had I not seen a trailer for this film, I'm sure I would have enjoyed it a lot more. I predicted the outcome before I even went to watch it. I love Leo Dicaprio, and have enjoyed most of Scorcese's movies. But this one I was hugely disappointed in.

This is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen! This is Scorsese's second best, Taxi Driver being the best.

This movie was entertaining, but yet highly predictable. I enjoyed it, but will forget I even saw it a few months from now. Leonardo DiCaprio did play a good role, but the writers could of tried harder to make this movie more memorable.

Effective psychological thriller and mystery. A movie like this no plot elements should be given away just watch it instead, it is interesting, effective, and very compelling. The whole thing works and the elements build upon one another rather than leaving plot holes. It is worth a watch.

A fantastic movie by a living legend. DiCaprio gives one of his best performances ever. I know it's way too early to be talking 2011 Oscars, but he was that good. And the open ending keeps you guessing.

This movie featured Leonardo DiCaprio in the role of a federal marshal investigating the disappearance of an inmate from a mental institution. DiCaprio does a great job in his role, and from the very beginning the movie grabs you and holds your attention. The plot is very well laid out, and keeps you asking questions throughout the film. In the end, everything ties together in a very interesting way. Overall, I found this to be an excellent film, and would highly recommend it.

An interesting film. Scorsese crafts an engaging story that is mostly sustainable. Of course, suspense films such as this now have to have a twist at the end, and there is one here, but it's not much of a twist - in fact, it's fairly predictable. The actors in the supporting roles are pretty strong, but there's times DiCaprio seems a little weak. This could be due to some quirky moments in the script, but DiCaprio has been much better in other films. Regardless, it's a decent film in Scorsese's long list of films.

Not only were Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, and Michelle Williams incredible, but the small side-cast of supporting characters such as Jackie Earle Haley and Emily Mortimer were equally as amazing. Scorsese's direction is flawless, bold, and exciting. A wonderful film full of mind-bending twists and scorching commentary on a world full of crazy people.
