Not a bad movie. Plenty of action from start to finish with a head to head matchup between Travolta and Washington.

I know a lot of people will disagree but, I liked this movie. It had really fast-paced butt-kicking action all throughout. It doesn't stop for a sentimental moment at any point in the movie. If this movie were a human it would say: "BAM! I'm Pelham 123! I kick your ass from start to finish!". Although it was basically "Die Hard on a Train", it was suspenseful, action-packed, and John Travolta did a great job as Ryder. Overall, I liked it and was entertained the whole time.

Pretty standard action fare with some above average talent. Still, even with Denzel and Travolta, it never really knocked me out with anything. Worth a watch, but far from my first choice.

Completely disappointed in this movie. My six year old could have predicted what would happen. Granted Travolta was great-- a bit too many Mother 'F' ers in the movie. It was a good action piece, but not to the standards of a Travolta/Washington point. both of them should be forced to take a year off acting for this typical predictable, big starred movie. The only reason why I saw the film was mainly due to seeing Washington and Gandolfini due there second movie together....I wonder if Washington even realized that Gandolfini was in Crimson Tide along side him pre-Sopranos.....LOL But I give it one thumbs down and one thumb to the side. REnt the movie, buy the bootleg.

A decent summer movie, in which you can sit back and watch the situation play out, even if you can see what's going to happen or where the plot is going. Even though they share little screen time together, Travolta and Washington both do a good job of filling their characters. Tony Scott delivers another solid action piece.

Well im not to sure what people were thinking when they made this movie but they must not of that to hard because you could see the end of the movie five minutes after it started the only thing you couldnt see was some of the out of the blue lines in the script ,I will say john travolta gives A great performence s he always does but the rest of the cast is less than good and average at best they could have made this alot better but hey it could have been alot worse my take is you should just rent it because it overall is just the taking of you money.

A good summer action flick with two great performances. John Travolta is at his best when he's the bad guy (Pulp Fiction, Swordfish). But the twist isn't what happens to the two leads, I think that's obvious in this sort of genre film, but why Travolta does what he does.

I would tell you to save the trouble of seeing this film and just rent the original. After all, the original is ecstatically wonderful! However, Denzel Washington is great in this. John Travolta is laughably bad, and between the F words, poop stories, and the girlfriend who undresses on the webcam, it'll leave you yearning for the original which was way more suspenseful as well. Tony Scott's excessive car crashes are about the last straw!!
