The acting was pretty poor but I really enjoyed the way the story was told. The music was outstanding and the twists were a nice touch. A solid Drama that is not like most movies out today. My wife hated it but I enjoyed it.

Atom Egoyan's most recent film, Adoration, is a breath of fresh air, thankfully. While I slightly prefer The Sweet Hereafter still, Adoration is a shocking exploration of a boy struggling with his identity because of his father's past actions. I strongly recommend it, as it is Egoyan's return to cinema. It makes you forget his last film, Where the Truth Lies.
