In the grand tradition of loud, mindless action summer popcorn films, this film ranks high on the list. Seeing the toys from my childhood come to life on the screen, as well as outrageous devices and over the top action, was a thrill for me. No, there's really no deep plot, there's not very good acting, and sometimes everything is a little too much, but I was pretty entertained for the 2 hours.

Full of action, great effects, poor plot and character development, 2 hour movie felt like a 3 hour movie, I just wanted it to be over.

I just watched this movie and I was paid almost $20 bucks to do so...and I was cheated. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the only ONLY reason to go see this movie, and that's only because he's freaking awesome all the time. Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans do what they do best: SUCK! For entertainment your little brother can enjoy, go see this movie, otherwise, don't buy into the Stephen "drain every last bit of energy from the audience" Sommers hype. Don't waste your money. Save it for "District 9".
