Tired prequel to the underworld series. Knowing what's going to happen doesn't make this any better. A bunch of hack n slash vampire vs. werewolf fights does not a movie make.

i was glad when this movie was finally over. this is the worst in the underworld series. the two main actors were awful, very unlikeable and lacks charisma. the first half of the movie was dull and they should have compacted it into a five-to-ten-minute intro. i love bill nighy but victor should be played by some younger and stronger actor. we don't want to see the most powerful vampire this fragile, do we?

While intially I thought this was a harmless mixed bag prequel,after letting it set in over night, I found this move to be nothing but dumb bloody fluff that could easily be forgotten in a few hours after viewing it.

Pointless prequel story to tell, considering that it was all summarized in the first 'Underworld' film (complete with flash back sequences). Much less action than the previous two and a boring filler of a story. The only good part is the final fight, which makes good use of the time period. Don't bother.
