I don't really understand why people didn't like this movie. My best guess is that a lot of the people who dis-liked it had read the books. I have never read the books or really had any desire to do so. I ended up watching this movie because my wife wanted to see it and I actually ended up enjoying it. The acting was solid and the movie moved it's self along at a nice pace. There were some parts of the movie that were a little clunky and out of place and some of the characters could have been deleted. Overall it's a very enjoyable movie and a good date movie.

I usually would be the last person to see this movie but I did and I found it to be bearable. I was fascinated by this girl who is literally addicted to clothes; spending far more beyond her means. It kept my attention but I also had a lot of wine in the process...that could be it.

I agree with every one.. This movie was horrible.. If it wasn't for the fact that I needed to get a movie my wife might enjoy just to balance the fact I also rented a couple of "Men" movies like Taken and American History X.. I too was embarrassed that I paid a buck to see it... One of the 20 worst movies I have ever seen.

This movie tried to re-invent itself by taking place in New York instead of London. However, the other changes were stupid, namely the end of the story. Isla Fisher should definitely stick to being a supporting actress. She is kind of annoying. This is the kind of film to see with your mom when there's nothing else to see. Just make sure you have low expectations. And you will not be disappointed, but neither will you be thrilled.

This movie is great to watch with your girlfriends. It is an amazingly enjoyable experience. The plot is original, the acting is great and there is great chemistry between the two leads that is pleasing to watch. All in all it is a good cast and a very entertaining end product that can be enjoyed by all. You will laugh a lot at the witty and playful dialogue and you will feel contented and energized after the film. Be sure to watch it, it is really great!

ok I saw this movie, cause I get in free. It was Ok not good, not horrible. If I was 12 this movie would be awesome, unfortunately I'm not 12. I found it impossible to believe she would get a job at the financial magazine. I also found the love story equally incredulous. I'm not gonna lie I did laugh at a couple parts. And there was a part where a mannequin was trying to talk her into buying stuff, which I thought was a bit cool/ creepy. One the whole I would say this is a good chic flick to watch...if your hopped up on cold medicine.
