Based on a sad true story about this woman who lose her son is but returned to her months later. Unfortunately, it's not her son and the corrupt LA police department refuse to admit the mistake. This movie has heartbreaking seances when the mother has just have to live the that her might be dead or alive?.

The premise makes it sound like this is a simple and straightforward story, but it's an emotional tale of a mother's journey for justice. Along the way, there's a fair amount of suspense and intrigue built up, but the film never loses its emotional center in a subtle performance by Angelina Jolie who has never been more vulnerable.

"Changeling" is a very touching and scary storiy about a single mother who loses her son. She just walks away one afternoon to go to work, and then he is gone. The corrupt police in Los Angeles tries to help her out. But when they finally say that they have found someone, it is the wrong boy. But the police talks her into that is is her real son. And that shows us how the police wanted to gain nothing but good reputation, even by lying to the whole nation which have followed the case during the five months that took. In the end, they find out that a murderer had taken all the kids, and that he had killed them and digged them down in his backyard. All thanks to one young man. I give this movie a 4,5 out of 5. It was just brilliant.

An excellent drama - corruption always makes for a good story, and as this is based on truth, it makes it all the more compelling. Clint Eastwood once again assures his place as a top director, and the cast is likewise in top form.

Another excellent film directed by Clint Eastwood. I was really hoping Jolie would have gotten the Oscar for this film. It is def one that and drama fan would need to check out. It's long, it's a tearjerker, and most of all it's well made and highly entertaining.

I'm fond of this movie. Very good story and very strong performances. Jolie doesn't have to make you know what she is thinking and feeling. For all I knew, it was freakin Maddox or Shiloh missing. Malkovich is always going to put on a strong performance. That's just what he does. I don't think he really knows how to perform badly. All acting aside, this was really good. Well done Clint.

The story was so much bigger than I thought. I never heard of this story before watching the trailer back serveral months ago. Even in the trailer, I didn't know this story had so much to it. Its a very touching story. I can't believe its based on true events. Angelina Jolie gives a very moving and emotional performance. This is the best movie she has ever done. John Malkovich is one of my favorite actors and want to point out his great performance. Clint Eastwood proves yet again why he is a true artist and one of the best directors ever. I love a movie that keeps you thinking and this is one of those movies.

This film wasn't bad, I thought it was going to be over at one point and their was 45 minutes left. It's loosely based on a true story. Angelina did her usual hardly speaking, staring into space role.
