An Okay Movie that Tries too Hard

It was strange to see Luke Wilson in this religious-indie- dark comedy-drama. It was strange to see George Lopez play a priest...
This movie tries to be powerful but ends up as simply being pushy. Poole moves to his old neighborhood to live out the last days of his life, but his new home basically becomes a place of worship for the community when a neighbor reveals that the face of Jesus is in a water stain on the side of the house. This movie is just very predictable from beginning to end. People come to the house to touch the face, and suddenly the blind can see, the mute can talk, the crippled can walk, etc, etc. The only one left who needs healing is ...take one guess....Henry Poole! But guess what....Henry Poole doesn't believe! But guess what we know will happen....somehow he will …
