This movie reminded me a lot of Starting Out In The Evening, maybe even more subdued. A production where actions speak louder than words with terrific low-key performances all around. The onus is on the actors to make this movie work. After the initial set up, the movie is a slice of the real world, events unfold naturally in non-movie fashion and the conclusion while not the most uplifting makes sense.
