This was a good character driven movie with great performances, including a good performance by (in my opinion anyway) one of the most underrated actors of this generation, Nick Stahl.

What sets apart this dysfunctional independent movie is the quality of its acting. Nick Stahl, Charlize Theron and especially Annasophia Robb and Dennis Hopper are terrific. I just wish there were better endings for its characters. Final Grade: B-
