A touching story of how one day can change the course of so many people's lives by simple choices. Jose is a head chef in a restaurant in New York, he has led a very difficult life but that becomes evident later. Nina is a waitress in the restaurant and gets fired when she comes in late three days in a row due to morning sickness. Nobody cares about Nina except Jose. They don't realize it at the time but they are both confronting their fears, his is of his past and Nina's is of her future. Jose decides to befriend Nina and as their story unfolds, it speaks volumes of the power of love and friendship and how it can triumph over all. -- Unknown User
