Not a whole lot of originality here, it's a typical sports story about a team on its quest to become champions. There's a little bit of emotion in the fact that it occurs in a small town that's losing its school and wants to go out on top. I liked it as a former Iowan who remembers when Norway's dynasty ended due to state consolidation. Since I was familiar with what happens, I enjoyed it, but I don't know if a viewer who didn't experience this when it happened would feel the same way.
