After five years, the X-Files have been closed down and agent Mulder and
Scully are assigned regular duty. In Texas, a federal building is
destroyed, but investigating the matter leads not to terrorists, but their
own government behind the plot. This cover-up leads to an even bigger
conspiracy involving a powerful cabal of men and a mysterious
