Cher is pretty good playing a public defender assigned to clear a homeless man (Liam Neeson) of murder. The conspiracy-mystery aspects of the script sound interesting but the setup is admittedly kind of convoluted. Dennis Quaid is funny as Cher’s sidekick/love interest.

Silly and routinely unbelievable courtroom thriller, typical of the 1980s. Not completely unwatchable, but there's nothing here that hasn't been done a hundred times before, and better.
