Thriller about an autistic boy who witnessed his parents' murder and the psychologist (Dreyfus) trying to solve the case. The movie is not bad but it is familar. However the acting is pretty solid across the board. Richard Dreyfus is in fine form and the kid is pretty good too, especially for his only role. There is a lot of effort put into the atmosphere and establishing suspense.

Decent enough movie, but the plot is somewhat overused. Lots of good actors and one of Liv Tyler's first movie roles. The dialog is a bit overdone but if you are bored on a Thursday you could do worse.
