A green Ogre named Shrek (Mike Myers) helps out the situation of fairy-tale characters from an evil Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow). Shrek, Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) embark in a journey that will be likewise end up as a fairy-tale on its own.
An ugly Ogre must bring the princess to scornful lord in order to save his swamp where he roams.
