Titans remembered at #35.......

Ok, so this movie is a little sappy...still I liked it. Denzel Washington is one of my favorites and he doesn't disappoint here either as the hard-nosed coach who is forced to integrate black players into what was an all-white football team. Will Patton plays the coach he replaces and decides to stay on as his assistant and he does a good supporting job as do the players led by actors Wood Harris, Ryan Hurst, Kip Pardue and Donald Faison. Even a very young Hayden Panettiere shines as the football-loving and doll-hating daughter of the assistant coach. A very uplifting and inspiring movie that is based on a true story and it arrives at #35.
