Not what I expected

An okay movie, at times I felt like I was watching a reality show rather than a movie. Kym is just released from rehab, goes home where her sister Rachel is about to get married, and all hell breaks loose. The characters seem to move from argument to argument as they change rooms, the movie slows to a crawl with LOOOOONG scenes including a wedding toast where every character says something, an odd load-the-dishwasher race, and a reception where everything just seems to stop and there's lots and lots of dancing. There's also this strange violin player that seems to just walk around playing his violin the whole time.

Anne Hathaway is pretty good, but I can't help but wonder if she stands out simply because this is the most acting she's ever been required to do on screen. Overall it wasn't bad, but I was really ready for it to be over. Nothing really gets resolved, which I guess makes things realistic, but it did make me wonder why the hell I spent 2 hours watching it.
