Charlie Kaufman was frustrated in adapting a book about orchids, so he made a movie about it - yes, the frustration. Nic & Nic's characters are good, but unfortunately brother Don does not exist and this is the only time a fictional character has been credited and nominated for writing a screenplay. YIKES!
