Only Worth Those Few Moments
1/4 stars

I chose to review this, because it's actually not as bad as Friedburg and Seltzers' other films. Granted, it is still not by any means "good". There are gaps in the humor throughout, especially when they "try" to actuallly parody a film. However, there were a few moments where I laughed out-loud (a couple of them were really loud). For instance: the opening credits, "pop your foot" kiss, the ode to "When Harry Met Sally", rat in Nicky's pants, Roz's sexual advice, Frodo pawning the one ring, Michael Jackson (just because I wasn't expecting it), "I've got nipples Grant", Jinxers shits and practices safe sex, opening the medicine cabnet, creepy old lady, "Exra Crispy", and Humus. These moments were original jokes that had nothing to do with the film, yet they were the only funny things to be found. This happened in Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans also, just not as many, as often, and as funny as the moments in Date Movie. My theory is that, if these guys made a non-parody movie that was filled only with original jokes like the ones I listed, then they could make a descent film.
