very basic, but not offensively bad

Drillbit Taylor isn't bad, but it's not great either. There's really not a whole lot to say about it. Wilson plays the same character he always does. The young high-schoolers borrow way too much from Superbad, and the script is mostly either bad, or predictable. This isn't horrible, offensive, or really annoying. As far as decent comedies in theaters at the moment, this is probably your best pick, but that's honestly kind of sad.
