Terrible sequel
1/4 stars The worst of the three x-men movies easily. The are several problems within it. The first is the story, Both stories dark phoenix and a cure have potential but they are poorly realized. Neither story is given the attention needed for a good story, they do not interact well and they both stay oddly separated. The stories only interact once and it does not really accomplish anything. It basically goes heres this part, oh wait now back to the other. It is very poorly done. Another problem here is like many bad sequels there are too many characters. This causes many big characters in the comics to be thrown away, and it also causes many characters to have too little screen time. Also in an attempt to make it an ending I guess. They kill off many characters, in many poor ways. There is not one death of the known characters that feels well done or correct in anyway. The film also kills other characters by the cure, which equally throws away many characters poorly. One more note Magneto is far too powerful compared to the other films in the series. But I suppose its good magneto did not fully realize his power because I personally would have used the golden gate bridge to just destroy the apparently metal less facility rather than just using it as a bridge.
