One of the Best Guilty Pleasures of the '90s

This is a film with a ludicrous plot, questionable casting and some of the most over-the-top FX choices of Michael Bay's career -- and yet, despite the horrible acting choices, the schmaltzy production values and the most laughable romantic interlude in screen history (two words: animal crackers), Armageddon remains undeniably watchable.
