The Lego Movie review

"You’re the most talented, most interesting, most special person in the universe." An unexpected surprise perfect or the whole family. It was the only time my 2 year old kid never got bored viewing a whole film in its entirety. The picture had fantastic character development, enticing voice actin, utilized almost every scene to make it engaging, moral essence was present, effective screenwriting and the soundtrack was just pumping and sufficient depending on the mood of the scene. This reminded me of a quality South Park movie and Team America: World Police without the profanities. Themes of father-son relationship, removing your originality ("Lord Business makes everything generic and takes away everything that’s special or different." from Vitruvius), belief in yourself ("Don’t worry about what the others are doing. You must embrace what is special about you."), and creating your destiny ("The prophecy’s made up. But it’s also true. You can still change everything."). Overall, an entertaining picture from start to finish for both kids and young at heart will definitely enjoy and cherish. It would be very impossible not to laugh out loud, smile or at least realize the impact (in the near conclusion) of The Lego Movie has in store for you. And let's not forget the LSS of Everything is Awesome, that in itself is worth seeing in the movie.
