The Family review

""There was a time when I had it all. People would ask me, what was it like being untouchable? The question they really should have asked was, what happens when it's all over?" A family consisting of Fred Manzoni (Robert De Niro), his wife Maggie (Michelle Pfeiffer) and their children Belle (Dianna Agron) and Warren (John D'Leo) try to live a "normal life." Agent Robert Stansfield (Tommy Lee Jones) tries to monitor their every movement. The directors attempt at a dark comedy was successful in this reviewers opinion and really made the female leads very interesting and hilarious. If only there were more history to the Manzoni family as well as the antagonists would have made this picture better. It's second half was very enticing but the beginning somewhat slow. People may be familiar with Besson's resume for action flicks, his attempt in mixing comedy was not at all bad. However, the character background of the figures were compromised. Overall, still entertaining and makes one wonder to be part of a family like that...definitely beats boredom.
