Quantum of Solace review

James Bond (Daniel Craig) goes after businessman environmentalist Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric). bond meets Camille Montes (Olga Kurylenko) who has plans of avenging her families death. Bond asks help from René Mathis since he feels M (Dench) mistakes him for a killer. Dominic owns majority of Bolivia's water supply and forces Medrano (Joaquin Cosio) to accept a new contract that makes Greene Planet Bolivia's sole water utility company for higher rates. Themes of trust, inner demons, power and moving on were exhibited.

Action packed sequences in land, water and air from start to end. The screenplay however was all over and the antagonist just wasn't that vicious compared to its other films. You have a serious angst-ridden unappealing killing machine instead of the suave, light hearted and methodical Bond. Gadgets from Q seem to be forgotten, which is trademark of the franchise which added some lighter moments. Stunts and set locations were wonderful but some parts were really dull with scenes not even connected to the main plot. Quantum of Solace for this reviewer is not better than its previous installment, but maximizes the action to keep audiences fixated, but lacks the grandiose elements of a true Bond flick.
