High Noon

A poor and overated western.

High Noon fails to create the dread of this force that is coming. When it comes you are not afraid and it is all a bit easy. It is mainly about how everyone is deserting him, and some have very good reasons, and the church scene makes no sense and does not even resolve. No character is really fleshed out and every thing is really just jumbled together. The acting is actually a bit overrated all Gary Cooper does is look forewarned to whole time. I did like the opening theme a bit but that was all.

Oscar Win Best Actor Gary Cooper 2/5- People like this performance and I wish I did, but it just not work for me. He played it to silent actually I though so it seemed more like he just did not care what he was doing. Again an actor who just looks tired throughout. His performance fails to be iconic sheriff levels and fails to be strong at all.
