Lowbrow humour at its finest, the main character is such an irredeemable asshole and the way he treats everyone is at times hilarious. It's refreshing to see a movie where the asshole doesn't have any last second revelations about the error of his ways and become a nice guy. While this approach may put off a lot of people who need someone to root for everyone else will be too busy laughing.
