Looper - Time Travel Plus Gore

Looper is a time travel movie focused on how the mob coordinates hit-men in the future. It's a very interesting twist on the typical time travel movie. These types of movies are very hit or miss, because they generally have one of more paradoxes that causes you to discredit the movie. Looper however, does a pretty descent job. For the most part, it makes perfect sense, as long as you don't think too deep about it. But their explanation of how things work does clean up those misconceptions of how time travel works in this scenario. For me, I'm very analytical when it comes to those sort of things, but it didn't bother and I thought the movie was great. There haven't been many sci-fi time travel movies in quite a while, and Looper came out in a dead zone month for movies, so it was much appreciated to finally go see something good. There is a lot of violence, so be prepared for that, but if you like that sort of thing, this movie is must see. Of course there is a twist at the end, and for me, the movie was very predictable. But I stilled enjoyed it and would watch it again.

"This movie was great" but only 3 stars? Your review is right in line with what mine will be. I felt the premise was good but the TKs and the ending was a bit rediculous.
