'I Love You, Daddy' is a beautifully made movie with bad timing. The biggest punchline to any joke is backfiring.

The film itself feels rushed. The messy edit jumps and you can tell it was made to reach it's premiere dates at film festivals.

Disappointed isn't the correct word that comes to head with Louis C.K. Betrayed is more fitting.

However, C.K has a least an interesting style of directing. This and his TV show 'Louie' have the same directing techniques. Not great, but has an eye for visuals.

Controversy aside, this isn't a bad movie. The score is great, acting was spot on, and the writing is rich with a Woody Allen feel to it. A shame it has come down to this.

I do feel bad for Chloë Grace Moretz. Just when Chloë was trying to get her career back on track, with more flops than wins under her belt. It's too bad, because she gave the best performance of the movie and then this happens.

Okay I should stop talking about this now. While writing this, I feel dirty for praising a sex pest.
