I was very surprised by how close the movie followed the novel. there were a few big details not mentioned and the odd fact that Nick was telling his story to a psychiatrist which is NEVER EVER implied or mentioned in the novel. But overall it was a good film and I give it a B. Leonardo DiCaprio was of course phenomenal as usual
