A very dark comedy that upon first viewing you miss the true beauty of the film. I love this movie more each time I see it. It is very beautiful, well acted, well scripted and shows Gilliam?s true expertise. Although "12 Monkeys" and this are so different, "12" is slightly better than this but only because I saw it first.
