I thought it was OK but a bit tedious and predictable. After the clever premise sinks in it was very average and too long.

I thought it was a good movie. I don't know if it was 8 Oscars good, but it was good. The love story was cute, predictable at times, but sweet in the end. And the older brother Salim...ugghh..I loved & I hated him at the same time. Reminds me of a couple of people in my family. hehe..But overall, I enjoyed everything about the movie. It was worth the $10 ticket, large soda, refillable popcorn, & squeaky seat.

I have been to third words countries and I have seen the poor first hand. A movie isn't going to make me a bleeding heart. I have done real work with the poor which is probably more than you can say. So listen boy wonder they could have made a better movie called "Let's Get The Fuck Outta Darfur!" and had Leo (your favorite actor) getting refugees out of the country and putting them up in his 5 star hotels and drive his expensive cars. It does not amaze me that the same people who applaud for Slumdog won't help or give a dime to that deserving cause of helping the poor. Before you and that wolf guy cast a shadow on me because I disagree with you which is my right maybe you should think about that. Besides are you both Nazis? I can have the opinion that the movie wasn't that great and not get pissed on by him. It's a MOVIE based on a novel of what MIGHT have happened according to some accounts. The event the holocaust yes did happen and that sucks. But was Schindler the noble person in the movie? Probably not. He seemed like a dick to me whose only agenda was money. I don't buy his change of heart at all. Maybe Speilberg should have based the movie off of Elie Wiesel's great book "Night" which is a much better story. So I am agreeing to disagree with you two. If there is a movie I like and you don't like why are you two so angry? Don't you know anger leads to the dark side? LOL

It wasn't just about a kid on a game show, that really was one of the less important parts of the movie. It was more about the poverty and horrible living conditions in India. If your really could care less about the characters, Hush, than you are truly an unsympathetic and cold person. Maybe you'd like to take a trip to India and see what you think?

I actually saw it after some prodding and yeah confirmed...predictable and lame. I could care less about anyone in the movie...it didn't grip me the way it was supposed to I guess.

Watched it. To be honest, it was boring for most part of the time. Didn't find it Oscar worthy.
