One of the better live-action Disney films that manages to be both fun and entertaining. The technology may not look as impressive today, but when it came out it was the height of special effects. Still a great family film.

What happened to Rick Moranis? He had the height of his success after leaving SCTV and he started doing movies. He did some very funny work, even if he played pretty much the nerd character in everything he did. Honey I shrunk the kids was a classic Disney movie that gave their special effects artists some challenges in pushing green screen technology as far as they could at the time. The original movie is the best of the ones that they made. It was also the inspiration for the "Honey I shrunk the audience" ride at Disney. A fun movie for the whole family.
