This very much felt like they created a plot for a mediocre spy comedy then decided they needed a hook and through the get smart references in there to sell more tickets. Over all the plot was ok thee were a couple of funny parts and the acting was surprisingly good. All in all I am glad i waited till video and probably could have waited for cable.

Thought the plot was not great, the movie had some very hilarious moments, the casting and acting was great and it stayed true to the old TV show. Fun entertanment

A good TV to film transition. The script embraces lots of stuff that made the TV series great, even finding a way to bring the Cold War into the 21st century. It does start off a little slow but once Agents 86 and 99 get into their mission, the movie really picks up. Some lame jokes, but that's to be expected. Good entertainment for 90 minutes.

Funny, but not memorable. Steve Carell is charming in the lead role, but he fails to translate his hilarous TV moments onto the big screen. Anne Hathaway provides a strong performance as Carell's partner. The story itself is flawed. It seems old and familiar. The film did not branch out from the mold of similar action comedies. There was nothing that stood out and provided lasting appeal.

Got fun, but not that much. I pretty much went to see Anne and a bit of nostalghia. At least I wast pleased in those aspects. As a movie is average at most.

I had very low expectations heading into this movie my mom made me go see. It delivered a little more than what I was expecting, but not by much. I laughed at a few of the jokes, but found myself just rolling my eyes at most. Why must all movies like this rely on potty jokes? This movie should have and could have been smarter than that. Having said that, Carrell and Hathaway were charming in this movie (I loved the dance scene), and the action was cool.

This was much better than I expected. Okay, so I admit it, I actually went to the cinemas to see The Happening, but was stuck watching this. This movie is based on the TV series with the same name, about a guy who is promoted to become an agent (Agent Smart) alongside Agent 23 (Anne Hathaway). Get Smart was really funny - I laughed all the way through it. This is so not my type of movie, but I actually enjoyed it. I absolutely recommend this!

I was glad this movie was funny... and I by that I mean I actually laughed thru most of the movie. The acting in this movie was good for what they were trying to achieve. I actually like Steve Carell in this movie... more than most of the ones he's been in. definately a movie worth seeing.

This is no Austin Powers and can't capture anything spectacular. The plot wasn't funny (what was it again?) and it tried too hard at times. Really funny in parts and some good acting. Still, it's merely average.
