This is probably my favorite comedy of all time. It is bathed in Coen Brothers tempo and style, but drifts a little bit more into the ridiculous (which is really saying something). Walter may be the greatest distraction from a main character in history and should have a movie of his own. The humor is all over the place, from insanely broad, to physical to the more subtle. My general experience with this film, is you either love it or you just don't get what all the fuss is about. I for one love it and and try to force anyone who hasn't to seen it to do so immediately.

This is one of the Coen Brothers' best films, as it is grounded in iconic characters as well as their signature madcap comedy style. Not only if the film smartly-written, beat for beat, but it's also very visually inspired. All of the usual Coen Brothers regulars are on display here and no one gives a bad performance.

This movie is really great. It's probably the driest form of humor I've ever seen in anything. The plot is so twisted and ridiculous and it doesn't even really matter. Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, and Julianne Moore were ridiculous. I can't believe it's taken me so long to watch this.

"The Big Lebowski" is yet another quirky comedy by the infamous Coen Brothers. I enjoyed much of the zany comedic situations that were brought on by actors such as Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore, Steve Buscemi, and John Goodman. A charming comedy in a truly unique style that only the Coen Brothers seem to have the knack of earning, bringing about incredibly dark situations and making them utterly hysterical.

I love this movie. I have always been a humongous fan of the Coen brothers, and it's on my agenda to see each and every one of their films. I knew about this one, I just never had the chance to see it. When I finally got my hands on a copy, my mind was blown. So much detail went into developing almost every character. I loved it so much, I watched at least four more times. Then I bought it, and I probably watch it every month or two. I love this movie.

The first time I saw this movie, I didn't really like it very much. But, I just watched yesterday, and I have to say, it's wonderfully hilarious! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Of course, though, Coen brothers' movies are always highly entertaining.

By taking a standard crime narrative and populating it with an assortment of odd individuals, including a slacker lead, the Coen's have made something truly memorable. The comedy is in the absurd mishaps that make these usual situations crumble into hilarity. It's one of those films where the more things get out of hand, the funnier it becomes.

There's nothing to be said that hasn't already been heard, or read, an infinite number of times. This film is absolute, hands down, unbeatable, brilliant, comedic perfection. Writing so good it's painful - this is afterall one of the most constantly quoted & celebrated movies (very few films have their own "Fest".) And it's equipped with some of the most beloved, well-crafted characters in cinematic history. Such gorgeous cinematography - it made bowling beautiful - it made a slacker a timeless hero, it gave movie-lovers a reason to party. And like a countless number of other fans, I catch something new every time I see it... and It continues to make me laugh, while astounding me even more with every viewing.
