Worst Sandler movie EVER! Seriously, this movie was painfully unfunny. There were no good gags, no heartfelt messages, no good acting, no nothing! This movie made me want to slit my own wrists. One of the worst of the year.

Grown Ups is a comedy about a group of childhood friends who get together for a funeral when their old basketball coach dies. The families of these guys spend a vacation together in a lake house in the town where they used to play basketball. The movie stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Selma Hayek, Maya Rudolph, and others. Together, this cast put together a really good comedy. There were so many funny moments. It was almost like watching stand-up comedy the way they threw in punch-lines throughout the movie. This was definitely one of the funnier movies of 2010, although not funnier than Death at a Funeral (which also starred Chris Rock) which was probably the funniest movie of the year.

Not a bad movie. There's a very thin plot here to get Sandler, James, Rock, Spade, and Schneider together, and it revolves around childhood friends coming back for a funeral and having their families spend time together. Craziness ensues as all the characters get a chance to shine or have their moment. It's not much, but getting all these guys together is good enough for me, and for 90 minutes it was an enjoyable watch.

Grown ups was basically a bunch of comedic actors making fun of each other and dealing with family problems for an hour and a half. I don't understand how all these talented comedians could make such a terrible movie. This is one of the movies where every funny part in the movie is put into the trailer, thereby spoiling all the jokes because those were the only funny parts. I went with my sister and my cousin to go see this a the drive-in, and half the time we were talking about how bad it was. The breast milk jokes were not funny, so why the hell were there 400 of them?! There was one good thing about this movie though, it was short. I recommend you avoid this movie at all costs. No matter what! 0.5 (Strike one was Funny People)

Grown Ups is a 2010 American comedy film starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider. Rock, Schneider, Spade and Sandler (as well as co-star Tim Meadows) all joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in the 1990-91 season; other actors Colin Quinn, Maya Rudolph, and Norm MacDonald have also been SNL cast members. Sandler and Fred Wolf wrote the script and Dennis Dugan directed. The film was produced by Sandler's production company Happy Madison and was distributed by Columbia Pictures. Good comedy. Funny. Worth a watch. What more can I say? It's comedy. It's funny. Watch it.
