let me just start by saying that im a huge fan of Sam Riami and i'll see anything he does.now onto the review.this movie was the most fun I had in seeing horror films in years.I loved every minute of this soon to be classic of a film.some pople think it's stupid, well i think it's horror genuise.MR.Riami creats a horror/comedy that explores the world of both genres.they both work perfectly.this film was great in scares, suspence, action, comedy, emotions, and the list goes on with Riami's genuise style of filmmkaking.check it out,you won't regret it.

Fun, amusing, and ultimately forgettable ride from Sam Raimi. It has jump moments, camp, and humor, but nothing to launch it into the annals of horror history.

Sam Raimi returns to his Evil Dead roots with Drag Me to Hell. This is a fun horror movie that scares you, but at the same time makes you laugh with the outlandish situations. Some of the effects are poor - but I'm unsure if that was intentional or not.

Well done, you just gave faith to American Horror; there might still be hope! For the last ( long ) couple of years only Asian Horror movies deserve my attention, and with time passing by even the medium/poor ones are masterpieces when compared to a long list of US horror movies ( i just had a flashback of house of wax for a while here argh!). I couldn't help myself thinking about the evil dead trilogy with some of the magnificent scenes on this movie (especially the tissue fight!). Mr Sam Reimi you just brought Horror back! Hope this is a new beginning... (and all other directors out there... please make room and stay way...)

I keep trying to examine this movie to find something wrong and ot's just not happening for me this moie could be the most perfect original horror film in years ,it's not your run of the mill Saw or remake that come out way to often (except the saw films I love them) it's Good horror Awsome jump out your seat moments they don't even need much blood they go with making you cringe in other ways and you can walk away from this film being happy not ripped off an any way,And! it proves to me that Sam Rami still has it and how great he really still is

Those looking for a straight-up scare fest should look elsewhere. This is Raimi's return to his style of horror which incorporates gross gags and madcap antics. That's not to say the movie is goofy. The story is centered in a somewhat believable real-world setting, but the events are far-out. I had a lot of fun in the theater. It invokes a reactionary watch for all the surprising madness. Fans of the 'Evil Dead' series should feel at home. An enjoyable experience!

Now this, is horror. Who better than to bring it back to life than the man who gave us the Evil Dead series. This is just so much fun, but its utterly horrific. Sure, the story is simple but it doens't need be anything more than that. A woman is cursed and experiences terrors. Thats it but the scares are loud and shocking and funny and its a great audience movie. Alison Lohman is gorgeous and a great lead and Justin Long is just there to flesh out the plot. Well Done Sam Raimi, you've revived most of your fanbase.

Do not trust the marketing campaign for this movie! The studio is trying to sell this as another run-of-the-mill PG-13 rated horror flick. But it is NOT. This movie is fantastic. It marks the return of Sam Raimi to his gross-out brand of horror. Even though I think it would mostly be appreciated by fans of old school Sam Raimi, it is a gross, hilarious, tense and satisfying movie that knocked me on my butt and left me smiling by the end.
