Pretty amusing, great 3D effects and a fun movie to watch. If you haven't seen a true 3D movie, this is the one to watch. Sure the plot sucks, the dialog is fake and the acting is bad; but it all seems to be on purpose. The creators of My Bloody Valentine didn't set out to make a great movie, they set out to make a great movie in 3D. The movie isn't meant to be taken seriously. In fact, I think it almost makes fun of itself by having extra cheesy dialog and scenes that are way over the top. Another thing that is fun, is the interesting ways people are killed. You can do a lot with a pick ax I guess. Check it out in the theatres or don't bother watching this one at all.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. I thought it was going to be beyond stupid. However, it wasn't as miserable as I thought it would be. I'd say it was much on the side gore. The 3D effects, however, weren't as spectacular as I thought they would be. There were moments of ooh aah, and swatting at things coming towards you, but it wasn't really too crazy. I think the movie would have went over just as wel as any other silly slasher movie without the 3D. The plot itself was pretty decent. A veryScream 2ish type of deal where everyone is all grown up after the crazy massacre. I thought the little "twist" at the end was pretty good, because you don't usually see that in movies.
