This movie is a must see. By far the best movie I have seen this year. The action sequence is great, visual effects are wonderful. The plot unfortunitly is more realistic and believable then most would like. Liam neeson did a wonderful job in this movie, playing a pissed off dad. I reccomend this movie to everyone i see. If you haven't seen it, go rent it today and buy it tomorrow

Loved this movie. As a father it had me clenching my teeth the entire movie just egging him on. It makes you want to hurt people that do these kinds of things to people. I found myself thinking of what I would do in that situation. Great flick...I plan on watching again and again.

Wow, had no idea Liam Neeson could be so bad ass! This movie was great. Lots of action that wasn't done in an entirely unrealistic way and a more action to go on top of that action. The story wasn't bad. I could see Liam making this into a good Deathwish series! One could only hope.

A very remarkable task for a 5-year rookie Director/Cinematographer PIERRE MOREL. A great leap from his debut film "DISTRICT 13" (from french film BANLIEUE 13). LIAM NEESON, as always, shines out in prothean roles and, this time, as a dad/ex-cia agent. The fulcrum of the story is when NEESON instructed his daughter about the inevitable. That she will be taken. A complete realization that there was absolutely nothing that he can do to save her daughter at that time. The plot is what gave this film a saving push. Good acting, sequence chronologies, great cinematography.

nice to watch a movie where you feel absolutely no pity for the bad guys and can simply sit back and enjoy Liam Neeson kicking butt.

This movie did really well at the box office. In my opinion, the reason for that is: The trailer. The trailer made it look like it was going to be awesome. But it was just an ok action movie. The acting wasn't so good. The fight scenes looked all right. It defiantly had its problems but I am still going to recommend it.

A good action thriller, as Liam Neeson takes on Albanian bad guys to find his kidnapped daughter. As with the Bourne movies, it's best to just sit back and never wonder how he gets from one place to another or has every gadget at every right moment. Never would have thought of Neeson as an action hero, but he pulls it off well here.

Think of a good action packed episode of 24, double the runtime and that's what you get with Taken. Liam Neeson plays Jack Bauer looking to get his daughter back from a prostitution ring while murdering everyone in his way. That's pretty much all there is to it.
