Taken is a 2008 French/American action thriller film starring Liam Neeson, Famke Janssen, and Maggie Grace. It is based on a script by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen and was directed by Pierre Morel. Neeson plays a former Central Intelligence Agency paramilitary operative who sets about tracking down his teenage daughter after she is kidnapped by Albanian slave traders while traveling in France. I love Liam Neeson in this movie. Wait, I take that back. I love Liam Neeson in EVERY movie. He delivers a sensational performance and does the rest of the cast. Normally, I think Pierre Morel's movies look stupid, but not this one. Check it out.

This movie was really suprise for me. Liam Neeson great, he delivers an outstanding performance. You love to watch him seek revenge and feel for him the whole time. i liked this movie so much and had great fun watching it. I haven't seen such a good work from Luc Besson such a long time. good job.

This is a great movie that should be taught to teenagers and early adults to teach them what to look out for and to be cautious with every action they do.

Took a little while longer to get going then I would have liked, but once it got going, boy did it ever go! A great blend of action and drama - Liam Neeson wins the award for bad-ass dad-of-the-year.

It is pretty much a popcorn flick, but this one has a little bit more to it than some others. Liam Neeson was fantastic in this, and the action sequences are very good. Not a cinematic breakthrough but rather enjoyable.

This movie didn't really sound interesting to me, but I tried it anyway. It ended up being one of the best surprises. Liam Neeson was amazing. The movie took longer to set-up than I would have liked, but once it got started it didn't let you up for air at all. Recommended for those who like Paris action movies!

This movie isn't moving or brilliant. In fact it feels as if we've seen many like it. Man gets something taken from him, therefore he wreaks havoc with his vengeance. Taken is a highly entertaining movie that is alot of fun. It had amazing fight scenes and action sequences, and just connecting with such a badass character like Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) makes it so fun watching him kick these sons-of-bitches' asses! GO DAD. Taken is a decent movie, and a very exciting action flick. A must-watch in Blu-Ray. FINAL SCORE :::: 79% ::::

If you're not expecting anything life-changing from this film then it's great to just sit back and relax and enjoy a decent popcorn movie. The action scenes are good and there's lots of baddies getting beat up. Great!
