Probably one of the worst performances I have seen by these two actors in a long time. They are really out of character in this one. The relationship is good, but the script is not. Skip it unless you are into death.

The Bucket List got pushed back away from awards season for a good reason. The film isn't bad, it's just not as great as one would expect from two of the greatest actors of all time. There is no problem with the film's acting or message, its in the script. It needs more. Probably about 20 minutes more of good drama and less philosophy between the two amazing actors. It's not a bad film, it just needed more work, and to be a little less sappy and a little more stimulating.

I found this movie to be enjoyable to watch. Nothing award worthy in it, but a good way to relax on a Saturday afternoon. Nicholson and Freeman played off of each other well, which is to be expected from actors of their experience. I felt like there was something missing at some point. Being only around 90 minutes long, it felt like they were building to something and it never came. All in all a decent movie that was worth the time I spent in the theatre.

Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson make a pretty good team in this buddy movie about two unlikely people who form a friendship as they face the final months of their lives due to terminal cancer. The title refers to a list the two make of things they want to do before they die. It's a fairly enjoyable film with, of course, an emotional ending. Freeman and Nicholson don't do anything here they haven't done before with their characters, but they play off each other well and the story is pretty engaging.

An overall decent movie. Nicholson and Freeman make a good team but fall short of anything great. Good if you're looking for something midway between feel-good funny and emotional. The combination had its moments.
