A very absorbing and engrossing film. David Fincher continues to impress - even at 2 1/2 hours I was never bored. Whether you know about the Zodiac case or not, the film puts it all in focus and I, for one, liked it.

Zodiac is David Fincher's masterpiece. It is one of the most mezmerizing, and fully involving crime dramas ever put to film. Jake Gyllenhaal is perfect in his role as a cartoonist who is fascinated by the killer and eventually becomes obbsessed with his killings and the clues he leaves behind, also Robert Downey Jr. is spectacular as the journalist who is assigned to write about the killing but stops caring after the world does. The cinematography is haunting, dark and gives the feeling of watching an epic. Fincher is a filmaker I have always loved, but he has never had a film that was quite worthy of a four star review. This is for you David, you deserve it.

Great movie. Could be considered too slow and too long, but I found it amazingly interesting.

Fincher's best film to date. It's the most absorbing and though provoking hence the most entertaining. Not to mention that he certainly learned a thing or two about directing.

You know, I wish I had better things to say about this movie. I really thought it had some great moments, in fact, I can say there were moments that sent absolute chills up my spine and loved the way it was filmed, but there are definitely other moments where I was really wondering why Fincher went this way or that. It's not his worse film, but it's also not his best. I really hope his next one blows me away. The moments I loved in this movie: The moment immediately after the "killer" talks about what he's going to do to the baby. The couple scene. Jake Gylelenhaal and the movie man. Anyways, the film is definitely not a bad watch, but as far as Fincher films go, it's not the one I'd recommend.

Typical Jake Gyllenhal movie. The movie was good but I do not like the style of his movies. They are to slow paced and the ending never pays off. However his movies do have great qualities like the acting, interesting storylines and weird quirks.
