Hilarious, yet also very moving for a comedy. My favorite scene is when Frankenstein's monster (Peter Boyle) joins an elderly blind man (Gene Hackman) for soup, drinks and cigars. That and Puttin' on the Ritz. Always fun.

Besides ?Spaceballs,? this is the best Mel Brooks movie. After watching Frankenstein for the first time, I took it upon myself to see this interesting flick. I laughed at all the parodies, and I laughed at all the originality. A great movie that is worth watching more than once.
