Bawdy, crude and foul mouthed, Superbad makes American Pie look like a watered down version of Grange Hill, but beneath all its Gross out humour and crass comedy, there beats a heart of gold. A coming of age movie which is honest, accurate and sometimes so wince inducing that you can't help but cry with laughter. An incredibly likable cast who are surely destined for bigger things seem to be having a lot of fun and the script and direction is inspired and intelligent. A tale of adolescent boys on the prowl for sex and booze it may be, but Superbad is also sweet, good natured and surprisingly romantic. Dare I say it, Superbad is Supergood.

I have never laughed harder in this Seth Rogen comedy starring up-and-comers Jonah Hill and Michael Cera. A brilliantly written film about the woes of wanting to be popular and the heartwarming story of two friends discovering that their friendship is truly the most important thing to them, "Superbad" left me completely in tears with laughter. Jonah Hill makes this film, truly. A wonderfully bright, witty comedy and a greatly unique and original film.

Superbad is an good teen flick that manages to crumble in the end. The comedy is spot on and the cast is good. Johan Hill and Micheal Cera are hilarious. Seth Rogan and Bill Hader are okay, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, is his film debut as "Mclovin" is actually quite funny too. Everything goes great until it falls apart when it suffers from a disappointing ending. This movie has heart but it does go overlong and is slow at times, but it's just so funny!.

This is my all time favorite comedy. The whole cast give great performances. I want to point out Christopher Mintz-Plasse. If he keeps his head on straight and if he has a passion for acting..... We could see another Sean Penn. This is what I mean: Sean Penn is famous for playing Spicoli but look at the incredible career he has had. Mintz-Plasse could have the same story. Basically, not being known for just one role. From start to finish, this is a brilliant movie.

Super Bad is about three desperate high school boys who want to have sex with three beautiful girls that they have liked over the years. But once they get invited to there crushes party, the girls tell them to pick up a few drinks for the party. So one of the guys makes a fake ID (AKA McLovin) so he could get into a drug store and get the booze! He does get the drinks but suddenly he starts to hang out these two retarded (but funny) cops who smoke and drink. So the two other boys go crash a party instead and steal booze so they get their in time (which they do).

Another great Apatow flick. It felt like Dazed and Confused for a new generation. A hilarious must see.

Now, I am not a harsh critic. I take movies for what they are and judge them from there. Everything isn't going to be a great epic story or some centennial classisc. Everything fits into its own little category or even subcategory. This movie, I believe, fits appropriately in the "garbage" category. This movie was completely mindless and vulgar for no reason. I don't care if it is really how teenage boys think. This was horrendous. There is no reason that this movie ever had to be made. Superbad is just an example of the degredation of wit and originality.
